Miss Ellie Waldsmith

Hi! My name is Ellie Waldsmith. I am a 2009 graduate of Holy Angels and a 2013 grad of Lehman Catholic. I am very excited and honored to be able to come back and teach at the schools that were a second home for me for 14 years of my life.

Upon graduating from Lehman, I began to pursue my degree at Ball State University. After a year there, I decided to transfer to Franciscan University of Steubenville. Franciscan was an amazing place to further my education as well as deepen my faith. While in Steubenville, I was a member of the Lady Barons Volleyball team for the 2014 & 2015 seasons where we won back to back Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference titles and appeared in the N.C.A.A Division III National Tournament. I was also a member of Christian Students for Free Enterprise, a group that sought to connect Christian ethics into the business world. In May of 2017 I graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Management.

I am teaching Junior High Religion, and Math at Holy Angels. I am also the JV volleyball coach and varsity assistant coach for this past season. I am excited to begin my career back in my hometown of Sidney, Ohio- as they say, “there’s no place like home!” Go Cavs!
